In Britain, it was a custom for tradesmen to collect "Christmas boxes" of money or presents on the first weekday after Christmas as thanks for good service throughout the year. The term "Christmas box" dates back to the 17th century, and among other things meant:Ī present or gratuity given at Christmas: in Great Britain, usually confined to gratuities given to those who are supposed to have a vague claim upon the donor for services rendered to him as one of the general public by whom they are employed and paid, or as a customer of their legal employer the undefined theory being that as they have done offices for this person, for which he has not directly paid them, some direct acknowledgement is becoming at Christmas. The Oxford English Dictionary gives the earliest attestations from Britain in the 1830s, defining it as "the first weekday after Christmas day, observed as a holiday on which postmen, errand boys, and servants of various kinds expect to receive a Christmas box". On this day, it is customary in some localities for the alms boxes to be opened and distributed to the poor. The tradition may come from a custom in the late Roman/ early Christian era wherein alms boxes placed in churches were used to collect special offerings tied to the Feast of Saint Stephen, which, in the Western Christian Churches, falls on the same day as Boxing Day, the second day of Christmastide. The European tradition of giving money and other gifts to those in need, or in service positions, has been dated to the Middle Ages, but the exact origin is unknown it may reference the alms box placed in the narthex of Christian churches to collect donations for the poor. There are competing theories for the origins of the term, none of which is definitive. In parts of Europe, such as several regions of Spain, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Norway and the Republic of Ireland, 26 December is Saint Stephen's Day, which is considered the second day of Christmas. Boxing Day is also concurrent with the Catholic holiday Saint Stephen's Day.

The attached bank holiday or public holiday may take place on 28 December if necessary to ensure it falls on a weekday. It originated in Great Britain and is celebrated in a number of countries that previously formed part of the British Empire.

Though it originated as a holiday to give gifts to the poor, today Boxing Day is primarily known as a shopping holiday. I KNOW I "ONLY" HAD ONE from usening a stupild autopilot program after playing app half a year and nothing else.Boxing Day crowds shopping at Toronto's Eaton Centre.īoxing Day is a holiday celebrated after Christmas Day, occurring on the second day of Christmastide (26 December). When I asked they told me that I had ben banned two times after the one time I knew about and total of 3 bans + this a 4th one for apparently usening IsBoxer, despite my attempts to get answere I din't get any at best just some half wit remarks or just got ignored by two of the security team members.
ISBOXER EVE ONLINE 2017 PLUS
I don't care about the monney I use on it, but 7 years of gaming time down the drain, plus having fun with online friends ended. So my best advice don't wast your time on a game where you can get banned for doing someting that is legal an allowed by the gama provider.

IsBoxer was declared bannable December 2014 and I got banned in Oktober 2014. I had a ban from when i had palyed the game about half a year form using a auto pilot program, since then I keept my path clean witch is why also cheked up on if IsBoxer was legal to use or not before I started using it. I got banned after playing this game for also most 7 years, they clamed that is was using a macro but the only program I used besides eveonline was IsBoxer witch at that time was legal, the member of the security team also told it was. They will ban you without listening to you
